Do you drift away in thought when you go to the beach? Does the calm cooling breeze that moves along the tree branches calm your mind, or does that thousand-mile stare out to sea bring you peace?
All these factors should have a place in your heart and mind with every visit to the ocean or along an inland lake such as Lake Michigan – the greatest place to be in Michigan.
Nature is the ultimate healer of the soul and the ultimate producer of the mind’s achievements. You can feel the mindfulness along a distant shoreline or somewhere hidden in the woods. The options are there for your taking.
I always take the time to collect my thoughts and replenish them along the shores of a lake or a river. The calm that nature provides to my spirit is the sole provider of innovative ideas or writing something with a significant meaning.
My goal in this writing is to inspire more people to use nature as their new inspirational tool.
Those are the sediments driving the poetic note, “drift away.”
I set out to write an easy read that could encompass all the feelings that I experience along Lake Michigan. I want the reader to experience the same feelings along a lake, and to see and feel what I describe in the writing.
The second line, “Sailing along this reflective bay” captures the entire scene – the glass like water, the course pellets of sand, and a blue and white sky of dreams.
This scene leads into how waves cover your feet like a sink full of soapy dishes, and how the faint sound of trees will inspire all your dreams filtering through your mind in that moment.
Well, let that moment continue while you stay for a day on the bay, because you deserve a paradise feeling with live dreaming. This feeling will inspire you to keep forging ahead with faith to accomplish your dreams in life.
Just let the winds of success slipstream along the bay and use this feeling to either continue along same path of success, or to carry you along a new trail to success.
Oh, what a day to drift away.
